I love my tinted Clearview Shield that I purchased after getting my Tourer in 2012.  I recently found a good deal on an Interstate, but the shield was milky white with oxidization so I ordered a Clearview for it as well.  The other day someone posted their 25% 1 day only discount code.  The Interstate shield is still in production, so I figured since I'm a returning customer it wouldn't hurt to ask if they would consider applying the code to the order I'm waiting for.  Long story short, I got a call from Andy at Clearview today, and they are refunding the 25% discount to my credit card.  Clearview Shields manufactures a great product, and they have excellent customer service.   cooldude

I made the post about the discount.  Got an email from them on Saturday.

Couple years ago I got their XL w/vent for my I/S.  Even though I look through it, (I don't care) I love it.  Ordered and original size shield for my Std Sunday.  My wife rides that one and didn't want it any higher or shorter.  $41.00 off.   cooldude  Got a message today that it will be 7 - 10 days before it ships.  That's okay.  I'll put it on this winter.

Good on them for giving you the discount.   Wink

I recently (mid Oct) ordered a tinted 16.5" from them for my I/S, and just today got the UPS ship notice.
Guess I'll have to ask Andy if that 1-day code would apply while my shield was in production...

...and later that very same hour...
Wow - he just applied the discount!  Go Andy!

I agree.  I like hearing about vendors that 1) still have parts for us and 2) do right by the customer.

I have 2 Clearview shields for my Standard (same as Tourer).  One is clear and I was getting a lot of glare so I painted the inside of the shield with a tinted clear coat auto paint that looks great and works well.  I also removed the escuchen plate around the gas cap.  The other is a stock + 2 inch that I ordered with the light tint for long rides like Inzane.  I wish I had gotten the dark tint for that one.

The fit and finish of the shields are terrific.  Quality product.  No issues at all with the buying process.

I bought a 17" for my 98 Tourer and can easily see over the top, which is what I wanted.  Getting ready for winter, I re-installed the stock shield.  Best of both worlds.

So I installed my Clearview yesterday on my I/S (1" taller, 5" wider than stock).  I'm thinking it might be slightly too tall, so I figured I'd order the stock size so I could compare (my old shield had been cut down 2" by PO).  Then just return the one I don't like.
So I went on the site and they have a "today only 25% off" promo code (BA25).  So I tried to place my order but got an error message that the code is already expired.
Anyway I'm sure Clearview will make this right when I call them tomorrow.  I'm sure they would make it right for anyone else having a problem with the code as well (you might send them a note about it today saying you tried).
