I just want to say something about the Valkyrie riders, I drove 600 miles to buy the Valkyrie I always wanted, after talking with this guy I could tell he didn't want to sell it but anyway the deal went threw I gave him what he was asking ,I don't like to talk people down on the price, after meeting with him and as I was leaving he was taking pictures of the bike on the trailer, my wife was with me and said he wasn't going to sell it that morning, his wife said he changed his mind s mind but I was already in the area so he sold it to me because I drove 600 miles to get there,I really felt bad for the man but what a very nice human being, seems like there still a few out there, to the man ( I don't want to put his name out) out there that sold me his bike and the bike of my dreams GOD bless you and your family, il take real good care of this fat lady.

Seller's remorse been haunting people for centuries; whether it was a cowboy and his favorite horse or a motorcyclist and his favorite ride. Cry

Yep, and many of us got to witness the best ending ever to seller's remorse a couple Inzanes ago in Asheville, SC----thanks to T-man403 and DDT.  I'll never forget it!

My purchase was pretty much the same story. The fellow had to sell something. He had to help out his daughter with her college tuition. I also bought at full asking price and he stood in the doorway to his Texas garage and watch me leave for Florida on it. He was pretty emotional about the sale.

Over the years I have bought and sold more than a few two wheeled modes of conveyance. I never wanted any of the ones I have sold back and never bought from someone that was not sure they wanted to sell. I actually took Greyhound 400 miles once rather than watch one fellow almost cry over his baby that had to go as a result of marital woes. He called back a week later and we came to an agreement; when I wanted to part with the bike, he got the first call. Two years later he bought it back and I was glad to let it go back to someone that really wanted it.

It was a damn hardtail!   2funny
