Need a Mechanic in Ohio/Columbus Area

Hello,

I may need to have some work done on my 1998 Valkyrie's transmission. I am looking for a mechanic. I am will to travel or ship bike.

As the Valkyrie transmission is a very rugged unit, most of "transmission" problems I've seen are with the clutch.

I'd recommend posting on the 1500 Tech Board to see if your symptoms will bring up any ideas.  There may be a member in the area who knows exactly what to do.

We have some smart un's here in the DFW Metroplex but Ohio would be a trip.

there is a good mechanic up here in La Grange, but that's a couple hrs north of you. there are a lot of capable valk riders in Columbus. jus post your questions over on the Ohio board, I'm sure someone will get you some good advice.

I have been lucky with good service at Honda of Marysville.  Hinderer Honda, east of Columbus in Newark would be my second choice.
