My son was in a MC accident last night. He is OK but sore.Another left turner. He was test riding a new Triumph for the 500 mile service and someone pulled a left turn from the oncoming lane and all he could do is let go of the handle bars and get up so as to clear the car instead of himself hitting it. The bike was totaled and the car was pretty messed up. He flew over the handle bars and landed on the hood then fell to the ground. His helmet protected his head and he just will be sore for awhile. He is the owner of Douglas Triumph in San Bernradino,Ca.  Very happy that he is going to be Ok. Runs in the family. Back in 1968 I had the same thing happen. A woman driving  a Pontiac stopped in my lane while crossing and blocked it. I was running at WOT on my 66 Norton and bang I t-boned her car at 50 mph. all I could do was jump up at impact and all I got was a broken wrist. They are out there waiting to get us riders.

Sorry to hear it Art.  I'm glad he's OK.

I used to get my Hog worked on over in San Bernardino, and spent some time at Norton AFB.  Busy place.

Glad to hear it wasn't any worse for your son, Art.
I'm also a member of the "cream a car broadside at 45mph club".
I didn't fare as well but am still riding today.

It's a jungle out there!
