Was reading my Bible this morning, I meant to turn to 3rd John but read 2nd John. I was a little surprised when it didn't fit into the outline but said a lot about what's going on in the world.
2 John 7-11New International Version (NIV)
7 I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist. 8 Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully. 9 Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them. 11 Anyone who welcomes them shares in their wicked work.

Does that apply to Jehovah Witnesses too?I think it would mean any cult that doesn't believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and died for our sins. |

What is your take on the new program coming on Fox TV called "Lucifer", I am sure they are going to try and make him look like a Good Guy!! Some time I think, Sodom and Gomorra back together again.

I'm not well versed in the Bible, but I thought Sodom and Gommorah were towns not people ? |

I'm not well versed in the Bible, but I thought Sodom and Gommorah were towns not people ? Gen 13:9 The whole countryside is open to you. Take your choice of any section of the land you want, and we will separate. If you want the land to the left, then I'll take the land on the right. If you prefer the land on the right, then I'll go to the left." Gen 13:10 Lot took a long look at the fertile plains of the Jordan Valley in the direction of Zoar. The whole area was well watered everywhere, like the garden of the LORD or the beautiful land of Egypt. (This was before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.) |

I'm not well versed in the Bible, but I thought Sodom and Gommorah were towns not people ? They are towns, sorry I thought that was pretty much a no brainer. My point is, the things that are going on here, and the things that people do to each other, I feel like it Sodom and Gomorrah back together again. I can't help but feel uncomfortable. |
