nuts.  I've done that but on 4 wheels being an ATV.

I've seen only once locally an old goldwing in 10 degree temps, snow on the ground like that facebook link, in town,  with snowsuit,, etc.,  helmet, and a HUGE wall of cardboard upfront past his factory fairing.  I guess if ONLY means of transportation, gotta do what you gotta do, well maybe? ???

They just posted a warning that we could see 4-7 here tomorrow. Might as well get it over with.

When I was a young punk I had a red and black XL 350, and would take it out all the time in the winter plowing through snowbanks and spinning ice donuts.  Had a buddy with a Yamaha enduro, we'd pack lunches and bb guns and head into the woods until the snow was so deep we couldn't go any further.  This was before I was aware of heated gear, or keen on checking weather reports.  We got pretty deep into USFS land up Mill Creek and a fast moving storm rolled in that lowered the temps to below zero.  Somehow we made it back to my friend's house, but I was pretty much flash frozen by the time I got there.  My friend's mom took one look at me and immediately started filling a warm bath to thaw me out.  She called my dad to come get me.  That pretty much put an end to our winter riding escapades.

V-Star 650.

Some ask why, others why not.  Just ride and enjoy life.

I think it was late June or early July on the Continental Divide in BC when similar road conditions exsisted. I made it to Vancouver before the snow melted. I seem to remember that downhill was an adventure.
