Several years back, I turned my house in to a recording studio, recording singers and small groups, and musicains. I gave it up, and bought a Valk. Cleaning up, going through my CD/DVD and several are not accessible, for what ever reason.  On several occasions, I went online and tried some of these so called CD/DVD recovery data programs, which never worked. Recovery programs that would tell me, "Can not access disk",  No kidding stupid that is the point of this program. What I need to do is, find a program that can access the data on the disk, that may have  bad directories or corrupted sectors.  But can still extract data, also the programs that can recover hard drives, can not recover CD's and DVD's. If anyone knows of one, that really works, and doesn't cost, an arm, a leg, two fingers and a thumb. I would be interested.

i have used this free version a number of times and had good results..the recovered files will not have file names and will name them file 1,2,3,.etc then you can rename them,, dont know if it works on cd's but the price is right..
