The hook-up point will be in Meridian , Mississippi on Saturday evening Dec.26 . The motel info is below. Cost will be $55.00 single or double and tax is included in that price. This is a weather pending ride and the motel will let us call the day of the ride to cancel if necessary. We'll have a couple Cajun's showing us some of their favorite back roads and eating spots when we roll out Sunday morning ( Thanks Dennis ( Troutdude ) and Brother Daryl  ). The Saturday 12/26 motel has a Applebee's a Bull Feathers and a Cracker Barrel in walking distance of our rooms . She is going to try and keep us all together and on the ground floor ( park at your door ) . You need to say " GULF COAST RIDE " when making reservations . We will base out of Biloxi , Mississippi and do day ride's from there into Cajun Country. So the 27th-28th -29th motel will be Econo Lodge 1776 Beach Blvd. Biloxi , MS ...Phone ... 228-374-7644.... Again say you are with the " GULF COAST RIDE " to get a discount and get grouped with the rest of the cool kids |

We will base out of BiloxiJefferson Davis' house is in Biloxi. Katrina nuked it, but the SCV and the UDC have rebuilt it. I visited it before Katrina, it was so awesome and old and Southern, the moss and the trees on the grounds... probably worth a stop... http://www.beauvoir.org/
