I stopped at a local Honda dealer Wednesday to look over their inventory of new Valk's and F6B's. They were closed.  ??? Apparently, Wednesday is a day off.  So I decided to buy one of these instead. http://www.diamondc.com/trailers/dump-trailers/21wd/Much better decision, I got to many 2 wheeled vehicles as it is, and this will (hopefully) add to the bottom line. |

That is one heck of a good looking very heavy duty and most well made dump trailer. Much better than the standard ones I see on discount trailer lots around my neck of the woods. Times I wish I had one, but I would settle to find one for rent for a day and never have.

That is one heck of a good looking very heavy duty and most well made dump trailer. Much better than the standard ones I see on discount trailer lots around my neck of the woods. Times I wish I had one, but I would settle to find one for rent for a day and never have.

Yeah, I thought so too. It's got a single cylinder with a scissor jack, seems better than a double cylinder set up. Looks very heavy duty. Pretty sure the Valks will not be seeing the inside of that trailer, if that's what your asking  Probably bobcat and mini and dirt and rocks only |

I'm interested to know how well the dump works when filled to the weight capacity.
I have three acquaintances with similar dump trailers (don't know the brand names), while all have a transport capability of 3 to 5 tons of material, they all tell me the dump won't dump if they load the trailers that heavy. Just curious.

Me too! When I get it back to the house, I'll mess with it and let you know. Next week sometime. I'm not going into the dirt hauling business, so don't really need large loads. Just need something that will move the equipment and go get some materials. 4-5 yards at most, anything more and I'll continue to hire out a tri-axle. A roofer buddy of mine has one similar, just older and beat up, and he loads the crap out of it with old shingles. Once in a while he'll over do it and will have to unload some by hand. It's gonna definitely work better than the flat bed trailer I'm working with now. |

 First time use, 5 bobcat 6' bucket loads, lifted no problem. About 3/4 full. Hope to max it out so I'll know what it'll do. |

Nice, but no cycles in those, but the Valk doesn't need to be trailered anyways right? If you have the need for such a dump trailer, that looks to be a very good one. I got in late October this trailer instead, not for the Valk, but for my 2 ATV's (plus other storage) in a 7x23' rounded top, all charcoal gray, finished inside, with extra 6" inside height, very similar to this one: http://www.ameralite.com/product-details?LineID=86&Image=2331This spring I will be buying a wheel chock probably for that 'just in case' time when I may need or want to trailer my Valk I/S. I was going to get a 7x21' but the mfg. convinced me to go 2 feet longer for only 244 dollars extra since most do. Glad I did not go any bigger though either 25 or 27' long, this one in 23 feet long is big enough. |

I've only NEEDED to trailer once. when I cut the sidewall of my C/T on a bolt or something. I've trailer-ed by option many times, when going south, during the winter months up here. That's a nice looking hauler you got there Appreciate the response. That's a decent load for sure. Now, I just have to figure out how to get you to volunteer to bring about three or four loads of good black dirt to my back yard. Well, don't hold your breath waiting, but I might get around to it. |
