Gordie Howe International Bridge

This is the bridge they are going to build going from Detroit to Windsor, which is going to be called the  Gordie Howe International Bridge. Now I heard something, and hoping you guys can set straight.  I heard they are building a bridge in San Francisco, and heard it was going to be built by a Chinese company, using Chinese workers and materials from China. Is that true or is that just rumors.  Now I know for sure there is going to be a bridge here in Detroit/Windsor. I did some searching for who was the company that was going to build it, but I couldn't seem to find any info on what company. I just don't have all the patience to keep looking, and was wondering if someone may have that answer. Who and where are they from.

If a bridge is gonna be built and named after Gordie, driving across it may lead to you being elbowed, cross checked, roughed up, punched out, run over, lose a couple of teeth, take a few stitches or get high sticked over the side.  Better keep your head up kid.

Good they're dedicating a monument to him; hope it's not a lengthy project as he doesn't have much ice time left.
