December 7th is a day when ALL of us should take a few seconds to remember what happened on this day in 1941.

Just a quiet moment to say "thank You" to my late father in law. He was in WW2. Lived a long life, raised 3 wonderful children and was a civil servant until his retirement. I miss him a lot. Quiet Giant!!

Lost an Uncle to friendly fire in the South Pacific. Never got to meet him.
Uncle Dusty flew P-61 Black Widows in the China-India theatre. Lived until 96 years of age.
My Dad flew transport across the Burma Hump among other places. Died too early.......
A silent tribute to all who protected and preceded us and made us into what and who we are.

Deepest respect to all, present, past and future Soldiers, Sailors and Marines.
This day does in fact, live on in Infamy.
And sad to say, Casa de Chaos, is the only one on High Noon tr. with Old Glory flyin.

The day of "Infamy"   FDR knew what he had to do and did it.  I was a kid of 13 and distinctly remember sitting by the radio and listening to FDR's request to Congress for a Declaration of War against Japan.

Been to Pearl Harbor Hawaii. There not quite 23 years after it happened. Once you have seen the Arizona you will NEVER forget. I KNOW I haven't. Lost an Uncle I NEVER knew at Normandy. They call those Men and Women ho served during WWII the Greatest Generation. I agree. I myself would say anyone that has served in the Armed Forces of The United States of America is part of a Great Generation no matter WHEN they served. War II shaped a LOT of what we are still dealing with today. To ALL those that made MY Freedom possible-I Salute each and everyone of You. THANK YOU.
