Hey, Larry - I didn't realize until after we left Saturday who you were
Glad to finally meet you, had I known, we could have chatted a bit about E China TWP.
I spent a lot of time up there, used to work at DECO St Clair PP...

Sure, I think they have to re-try.
Considering the politically correct nature of today, I'm thinking they'll have to waste more tax money.
I'd like to be wrong.

Probably not since their will be retrial (and this is only the first of six). Both prosecution and defense generally do better the second time around. Each side has seen the other's cards (although the defense should have had
everything
the G had before trial).
Porter, 26, was charged with involuntary manslaughter, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and misconduct in office. He is the first of six city police officers to stand trial..
It's really noteworthy that the jury could not reach consensus on
any
of four charges, even the lowest.
I wonder how a Baltimore cop gets a fair trial in Baltimore?

His wasn't tried for what he did. He was tried for what he didn't do ie.... he didn't bucket up Freddie and he didn't believe him when he said he was in distress. If it weren't for political pressure this defendant who not have been tried.

Re-trials, appeals, whatever is always going to happen no matter what the crime. Seems that no one does the crime they are charged with. I DIDN'T DO IT cost us a lot of money.
