I have been seeing lately some used 2013 F6B pricing with under 5000 miles in the 12.5-13K range while a new 2015 F6B deluxe model asking 21K at a dealer.
Besides the taller windshield, heated eqmt, and backrest, is 7K more so worth it to buy new deluxe pkg. vs. only slightly used since we all know these engines will probably outlast our riding lives?
Also, what was everyone buying the stock f6B for back in 2013 since I think there were larger rebates back then maybe, not sure, wanting to sell some? Seems like 12.5K used is a good deal for what you get, especially as compared to new pricing now. I even saw one 2013 locally all blacked out with taller windshield and passenger backrest asking 13K.
Ya gettin a lotsa cycle in my eyes for only 13K or slightly below in price, say 12.5K.
When I see new honda silverwing scooters asking price 10K at a dealer, why not spend 2-3 grand more and get 'da bomb'!!

Sooooo, you're slowing coming around to our way of thinking, eh, Cookiedough?
It gets a little complicated but for the most part, each year offers different colors, for one thing.
I think it was the 2015 model that offers cruise control.
I don't know what the 2013 was discounted back in that year but the base price would have been around 20k, MSRP and a thou more for a deluxe. A deluxe gives you 4 things--a center stand, passenger backrest, heated grips, and self canceling turn signals.
After my I/S was totaled in June, I found a brand new still in the crate 2013 standard F6b from Sportland 2 in Oak Creek, Wisc(south of Milwaukee). The bike had 2 miles on it and is the fast black version. I bought it in July for $13,500---out the door was 15,100.
I've since added the center stand which was a trike build takeoff for 75 shipped to my door---NOT 450 like the Rivco. I added a slightly used pair of heated grips for $175 and a passenger backrest for about 170. So, I have everything a Deluxe has cept for the self canceling turn signals and I don't care about them. I did it all for about 420 and installed the stuff myself.
I will say it is fun to once again have a bike that vendors support. There are many different seats/exhaust systems as well as other goodies.
I don't know how much the 2015 Bs are being discounted but I would guess at least 3 grand, if not more.
If you can find a low mileage bike with many of the goodies already on it, you might be better off buying that. Also, many parts that fit the late model Wings will also fit the Bs. Think wheels, exhaust, fenders, lighting, etc. That's not a bad thing!
Lastly, the ONLY thing I miss about my Valkyrie is hearing those sweet MarkT exhaust pipes. I can clean the B in less than 10 minutes. There are no real nooks or crannies to negotiate.
