old school look with modern features, nice, but pricey for what you get.

I bought and used a few times an 8' box older 1993 flagstaff by cobra popup camper in good shape for 1500 bucks and was just big enough to fit my 10' jon boat on top of the roof strapped down on top.   Works nearly identical to that 8k+ camper setup but with more inside room, just not as fancy/old school looking.

What spoiled that one trip with it that year was not any fault of ours,  but the campground had us parked in between two very large basically full time/year round, VERY expensive,  house sized campers (or should I say mobile homes).  We were setting up and the year round  snooty house camper told me to move my pickup since was blocking the view of the lake from their front porch.  I moved it back 3 feet which is about all I had to move it and asked was that good enough?  LOL  Grin   I paid my 10 dollar per night camping fee, my spot, if they don't like it, tell the owners of the campground to move their camper (good luck on that one).

Now that I have my new 7x23' trailer,  I can sleep in that with enough room to store all the stuff as well.  I just have to convince the misses that sleeping on an air mattress is as good as a hotel?  Roll Eyes
