Meathead....in reply to your post #40, you probably are going to have to put up with it forever as the current resident of the White House will probably go down as the worst or at least the most hated president in history. I have no doubt he has surpassed Jimmy in the quest. Pappy, I've been living with it for 7 years now. I'm getting used to it. I can understand people not agreeing with his policies. For the life of me I can't understand the complete hatred some have for him. I can also not understand how anybody can HATE Jimmy Carter I am not very religious person, but the man optimizes what a good Christian should aspire to. At least as I understand Christianity. I agree, meathead. How anyone can despise Carter is absolutely beyond comprehension. The man has been nothing but righteously living his faith, doing good wherever he goes, for years, decades! He's 90+ years old, battling cancer, and is still out building houses. Saying all this, I suppose he could be painting watercolors. You just had to get that in there LOL

Figuratively, I am going to shoot from the hip on this, First the way I seen it, was Clinton wasn't the embarrassment, it was the people reaction to Clinton that was embarrassing to me. From what I read in the past, other countries said, what is the big deal, and ranking people have mistress. I not saying whether it was right or wrong, I am just saying that it wasn't as earth shacking as the American Media made it out to be, everyone has faults.
Now the thing that concerns me, is not the Constitution itself and much as what it represents, far as defending our selves. There is a successful concept called, hidden in plain sight, You refer to BO as being stupid, but the thing is "Is HE"!!! Have you ever played checkers or chest, you have to lose to win. My question is," Is he stupid or is it strategy", he seems to this point, to be getting away with it with no repercussions. Seems a little in plain sight!!! The thing is across the nation it seems like bit by bit we are losing the right to protect ourselves, when police are in split second moments and react to the situation. People want to hang them out to dry, and of course the media don't help. Again and again they refer to the gun control to the people that register their weapons, and totally dismiss the criminals that that cause the problem. When will they ever get it in their head that,"Criminals Don't Register Their Guns". They seem to always take exception of the fact and make them the main issue of their argument. Sure on occasion people that have registered guns commit crimes, but compare it to all the crimes that people that don't registered their gun, is a small fraction. I see something coming up the road, where you will not be able to afford to have weapons to protect yourself. I don't know I am just think out loud, correct if I am wrong, and I hope I am wrong!!
Protect yourse3lf from what? 99.99% of people spend their whole life never having the oppo to use a fun to "protect" themsleves. There are thousands of peoiple every year who need protection _from_ themsleves...gun suicides. There are many more gun accidents. There are many more gun murders. There is pretty clear evidence that in an emergency situation, even gun-trained people will "shoot themselvea (or someone else) in the foot" when trying to "protect" themselves and other against local attack. IIRC the right to bear arms (given a LONG time ago) was about NATIONAL defence, when America felt threatened by Britain and maybe others. Either it has been twisted by gun-lovers, or by paranoid nationalists who still feel that the world outside the USA is out to GET the USA, to fight tooth and claw to allow as many guns as possible. Yet the US....no,I will not go there in this forum. If you go into life looking for trouble, you are more likely to find it. I did not want to get into this, but VRCC is selling shirts about this stuff and it really p'd me off. I stayed out of it, and now I read these posts. BTW, freedom means you can ascribe any motive you like to Obama, but he is as free as you and was elected. I truly believe he is NOT stupid...god no..try going head to head in aq debate with that guy ok?..and is not trying to wreck the US. He just believes in stuff that you don't and rubbishing the man is not argument worth consideration You're entitled to an opinion but the bottom line is, You don't have a dog in this fight. You're also wrong. the 2nd Amendment does give individuals the right to bear arms in the US. It is only the 2nd Amendment that makes the other amendments possible. Obama and his Ilk want to strip Americans of their 2nd Amendment rights so that it will be easier to strip them of ALL their other rights.

I must have missed something. Why would a shirt with a pro second amendment message be so controversial?
It's much like faith...you are free to believe and free to not. You are free to own guns and free to not.
Why do some feel the need to ban what they don't choose for their self?

They are afraid of armed, law abiding citizens, defending the Constitution.

Actually, that's a pretty quiet day for Chicago-----where handgun possession is illegal. Chicago is a great example of why gun control DOESN'T work!

Wasn't referencing your post. Earlier post said VRCC WAS selling the shirts, had already been debunked, but repeated. I guess if the anti 2nd Amendment people want equal space, f6store could offer a tshirt that said to ignore the Constitution? Wonder how that would sell?
