Thanks for the heads up on the good news

My newspaper (yeah a real newspaper delivered in a bag that usually slides UNDER one of the cars in the driveway) just said they were being held.

Enjoyed most of my ride thru Alabama with Dan, (except for losing Fred the Flintstone GPS one of my rivco airhorns and my kickstand spring) will miss it

some video that is avail on You Tube regarding the release and capture.

I have to say there is more to this than a mechanical issue and taking them captive is not lending assistance when on the water.

"lending assistance" isn't usually at gunpoint...

I'm no fan of Iran, but lets remember what we would expect of our Coast Guard if two small boats from a (hostile, non-ally) foreign navy full of armed men floated up inside our boundary waters.  We would take them into custody with SOP hands on head (you act like you are trained to act).

I have not read much on this, and am principally waiting to hear how our men were treated (not from some G spokesman, but from the sailors themselves).  One pic had them lounging in custody in a carpeted room, not a jail cell.  Were they interrogated... nicely or not nicely?

I don't much care how the Mullahs' spin the whole thing politically, only that our men were well treated and returned.

I'd also like to hear how these boats just happened to be floating around with no power.  They run out of gas?    I expect the Iranian navy to be the Keystone Cops, not the US Navy.
