Please ladies and gents here  -   when attending your child's or grand child's sporting events be very very nice to the opposition.  They have feelings

Is way different in WI as am sure everywhere vs. 20-30 years or more ago. 

I remember some 25+ years ago chanting 'air ball' in the audience to one of the other teams jerk off BB player who was good, but no one liked in our school,  while he was shooting a free throw.  When he made it, he turned to us in the audience and gave us a big smerk like 'haha, I made it'.  We did not care, kept chanting air ball all the time.

Rewind to my kids now in high school at a BB game.  Is totally different type of cheering.  They already know you cannot say anything bad or even boo anymore, told that when younger as well in school.  Just the way things have changed. 

I still see no reason why USA is a bad thing to say though? 

Heck,  in one of my kids last year 8th grade BB games (our team won only 1 game in 2 years luckily by 2 points, not good at all),  I was YELLING at the other team's coach right in front of EVERYONE to take their star players out of the game letting the 2nd and 3rd stringers on their team's bench play NOT racking up the points even more so since our team consisting of only 6 players was loosing like 35-4 at halftime with final score being like 70-10.  Their coach was even full court pressing our players after halftime and a few of us parents were YELLING at him to stop it NOW.   I could care less what he or anyone else thought, is a free country and if they don't like it, see if they can toss me out of the building without getting the cops involved.  Good luck!!!   Where is the sportsmanship in having the final score potentially being 100-8?  And you wonder why kids don't want to join a sport? Luckily most, besides one player on their BB team,  don't really care whether they win or loose just want to have a good time hanging out together, but one good player does take it pretty hard and cries loosing constantly so badly. 

Coaches, as well as players, and fans alike, have to still remember it is still just a GAME is all!!!  That is the main reason why I quit playing softball in my early 20's,  our anal team jock players were so into WINNING that they bitched about every single potentially bad call the ref made being NO fun to play the GAME anymore for me it was like life or death to them to constantly win even though we were all good players.

I would really like the chance to sit and talk to the people, who are on the Board of Control. A name they chose to call themselves, just the kind of thing that expresses exactly what they do, yet seems out of place in a group spouting acceptance.

What are they supposed to chant? What is accepted as ok?

All though they want you to think, this is an isolated issue, but the truth is, it is the consensus across the nation. You got to look at the big picture, not focus on one little area. This is not new, this is a product of Political Correctness(PC) which is developed to create doubt, chaos, and a  unclear definition to a word or statement. Which can be interpreted any way they wish, at their discretion. Think about it, have you ever been confronted with maybe an accusation or an issue that seemed so stupid, you may have thought is was part of a joke, and turned out it wasn't.

I would go a bit further in Germany the burning of books had a purpose in making people forget heritage, forget how they became the country they were or their roots and so they were more susceptible to brain washing of the government with their own agenda.

Now not all people are in this but all it takes is a few leading and proposing seemingly good sounding ideas and the sheep will follow and be the instrument of implementation while the elites keep their skirts clean.

All they need to do is to get us fighting among ourselves and they have won. Seperation is one tool to achive this goal.

United we stand divided we fall.

The government is supposed to be the consistent, level, fair administrator of rules and guidelines to act as a unifying force in a country. If you look here today O has done just the opposite "which is his intention by the way" but whats interesting if you are white or black working and following moral guidelines most see pretty much this administration as failed even though it was skin color that was supposed to be a good thing.

NO one wants to submit and do things that may be tough if the administration is corrupt, unfairly administering rules, treating all differently and making excuses rather than exposing all of this.

This is why the Founders of this country said we have unalienable rights given to us by the
 creator.


We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed


Just as side note to another post just because the government doesn't license people does not mean they cannot institute laws of conduct and guidance. Licensing implies that you are another s property and have to have permission to do something. A far contrast from making laws to punish when rules are not followed.

Just this morning, in the local Fish Wrap (the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel) there was an article that was telling how the WIAA was being scorched in the court of public opinion.  Both for the new 'rules' on being a fan, and for the suspension of the young lady...

They wanted to make clear that these were not new 'rules', but a guideline for protecting the fragile feelings of visiting teams/athletes  Roll Eyes .

I'm so glad my boys are done with their High School Football...  Had these guidelines been in effect back then, I probably would have been reading about the games the next day, rather than rooting from the stands with the other dads (moms all sat together, and barely watched the games).

In the past 2 days I have been to 5 middle/high school basketball games at PRIVATE schools.
