Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

QS&L started in Sharon, PA back in the 70's (right over the border from us), been going there for decades.

The original owner of the chain died a few months ago. Within a month QS&L filed for bankruptcy and TravelCenters of America (truck stop chain) bought them.

I'm figuring there will be many changes as now a big'ol conglomerate has taken over; from a family owned, local operation.

The one near Scranton closed about a year ago too.  The food was ok and bike night was alright,  didn't make a special trip to go bike night after all there were to many people drinking and riding.

I went to the Sharon QS&L several times in the early 2000's and it was the best.  It was also on Wednesday so I went to the West Mifflin one (10 miles versus 90 miles each way).

The one in Knoxville closed a couple years ago the only time they had a crowd was on Thursday's Bike Night. The place would be packed with bikes and they had some good local rock bands on Bike Night.... Building is empty and starting to show lack of mainteance.

The one in lower Dayton closed this summer.  Never knew why, know I do.  Had a huge bike night on Thursdays and always gave away a Harley in a drawing towards the end of the season.  Too bad.  Have no clue was Travel Centers of America would want to do with this chain - seriously doubt it will be the same.

Same here, we went with Rattlebars to the one in Sharon a couple of times back in the day.  It used to be a busy place.
