HP Office jet 8620 have one at home and office does what I need it to do. Its an all in one so it can fax, scan, print pretty cheap to operate.

Have a Kodak 2170 bubble jet and a Canon MF8280 color laser.

Both work well, the Canon does a better job of staying connected to the network.

I've been using an Epson 420 for about the past 6 years with no issues except I think it uses a bit too much ink.
Its not the printer I wanted, but, I got talked into it because it came free with the new computer.

I use the Kyocera Copier in my office

Toner lasts a year.   High speed.

My wife has a brother printer in her office here in the house and I can print from my man cave onto it

Since their name is on my paychecks I'm contractually obligated to say HP makes wonderful printers of all types.

Wink

Having said that, it actually is an HP that I use though, both a HP OfficeJet 6500 for color and scanning and an ancient HP Laserjet 4100 I've got hanging off of a wireless print server box for black and white...

I use a Brother MFC885 CW that's wireless. It's also an All in One--Fax/copier/printer. I buy my ink refills online. It's much cheaper than the instore prices of cartridges.

HP envy as well.  I like the wireless feature since my old lexmark printer had to use the cable hooked up to print and could ONLY find those lexmark ink cartridges from staples not nearby me.  BOTH and I believe NO matter what home printer you get, they all use tons of ink if print a lot of paper, especially blank ink more so.

Just make sure you buy one not too high priced and also as well more so you can get the ink jet cartridges local and not too much overpriced both black and color cartridges.

The cartridges cost more than the printer is worth after a few years for sure.

I use an HP 6520.  The problem I had was that when I had it connected to the internet HP seems to watch your ink levels.  I use black almost 100% of the time. When I run out of black they say I need blue, red and yellow too.  If one cartridge is empty all things seem to freeze up.  HP knows if you use an aftermarket cartridge and seems to shut things down.
I'm no expert but when I found the right settings and disabled the internet connection the problems went away.
But then again I might just be paranoid.

Wow, how do you answer that question without another question(s)?

What do you want it for?

I do so little printing, I have a wireless at home, and just gave mom one for Christmas which will accept connections with cell phones.

I actually don't use mine for printing. I use the scanner for imaging all my incoming papers and receipts, to save as records, then shred the originals.

Color printing, I use the laser at work. For pictures, I go to Costco. For everyday, I plug in my cheap laser printer. My inkjets dry out before I even end up using them. The last printer was $45, it's cheaper to buy a newer/better printer, than to buy the ink.

Oh Ya, both are actually HP.

Ink will print 500 pages (maybe). Laser will print 5K pages, for the same price. Which one will you use?

I have been using a Brother MFC-J270W for several years and it works well.
Very cheap all in one but the cartridge refills seem pricey - but what cartridges aren't  tickedoff
Print wireless from 2 desktop pcs, 2 laptops and a tablet, scans and copies well.
Would recommend to someone looking for a decent all in one wireless printer.

Had this Kodak for a few years now and love it, I can hardwire it to the network then connect wireless from the laptops.  You can even scan something from the printer to a laptop and the ink is cheap.

Epson WF4530. If you print a lot, it holds about a gallon of ink (figuratively speaking), the cartidges are  are big. Took 2 yrs before I replaced first cartridge.  Reason I bought the printer. Make all my own birthday and christmas cards for family and friends has never failed to stay connected. Was a 300 dollar printer on sale for 199.00 when I bought it. Staples had 50 trade in offer at time amd I had a cupon with 25% off. Got the printer for around 130 bucks with 3 yr extended warranty. Need to hard wire it to use scan functions. Phone app works great with the printer  and Hammermill app as well. Replacement cartriges run about 100 bucks for all 4. There are aftermarket cartridges you can fill that hold probably dbble what original cartridges do. New model of this one may scan wireless. The WF 2630 will which is a current model. Also have a WF2630, cartridges are 1/5th the size of the WF 4530 and cost the same price. but printer was only 59 bucks. Epson makes a printer that holds about a pint of each ink and does not use cartridges but cost 400.00 guess you either pay for ink to get a cheaper price on printers. Both printers work very well and would recomend them.

I have one true wireless printer and it is an HP AIO Printer,Scanner,Copier and Fax.....but it is an Inkjet printer and somewhat expensive if printing a lot.  I mainly use an older HP Laserjet 6L connected to the network thru my backup network drive and it works well, black only of course.  Been using older toner cartridges until I recently picked up a new one on eBay for 15 bucks shipped.  And I bet that lasts me a few years as well.  As you can imagine, I don't print much....

I have the HP Envy 5330 (maybe a previous model to Mike's ??)

I print from Apple Macbooks, a PC laptop, an iPad, an LG pad, and from our iPhones.

Setting it up is a snap.  Getting it to work was strange though.  I followed all the instructions to a T.  Didn't work.  Trouble shot everything and tried everything I could think of.  This was using a Macbook.  Uninstalled, re-installed, Nothing!  Restarted several times.  Gave up trying after a couple of hours.  Next day.  It was working perfectly.  Like the day before never happened.  Been a breeze to use ever since.  Cartridges a the cheapest I've used so far and there are only 2 instead of one each for the different colors.
