Every year the event shirt is an Interstate yet probably 80 to 90 percent of all Valkyrie riders ride standards or tourers, and this also applies to Inzane.

I've been to every InZane but ( 2 ) .... Not all the event shirts in the past was a Interstate . Connie has addressed this already and next year will not be a Interstate however I will agree with Black Pearl's Captain.... Interstate's are BADASS.... Are you attending InZane ?

It doesn't really matter what is on it. They are all the same except for body parts and a couple engine components.

While not an Interstate rider, I'm just happy it's the old style Valkyire.   Wink

Before you get too carried away with that you do need to know that that ad was made before the Interstate was marketed.

I have both a Standard and an Interstate.  I've bought, over the years, two Standards and four Interstates.  My first was the beautiful Blue and White Standard.  I still have her.

The Mighty Standard?  I will tell you that one can work a bit on upgrading and modifying and make a Standard a higher performance machine than an Interstate.  That should be doable as it carries less weight.  That said, I can tell you that my experience is that "out of the box" the Interstate is a bit quicker and gets better fuel mileage than does the Standard.

Be proud of what you have.  Be careful that pride doesn't cause you to jump to unwarranted conclusions and let you decide to put down what someone else has.
