I was working around the house today and the phone rang I looked and saw Foster's name it hit me off guard. He sounded great no tubes or hoses and he is eating real food again. He is in a special rehab wing at the same hospital and hopes to be home in two or three weeks.

He called me to say he wanted to thank all you on the VRCC for the prayers and cards . He said it made him proud that so many took the time to think of him. He ask that I post this on the board because he has no way of doing so right now..... It was awesome to hear him talk and know he is getting better by the day. The man has my respect I have no doubt a lesser man would have been dead months ago.

I wonder if any of his clothes will fit after being layed up for so long? Good to know he is doing so well.

He has lost a bunch of weight he is just now getting to eat without tubes hanging out of him. Talked to Paul ( Wimp ) today and we plan to go see Foster tomorrow.

I know this is premature, but I wonder what his plans are concerning continuing riding after he recouperates?  If he plans to get back in the saddle, I'd like to do what I can do help get his bike ready.

Paul and I went to see him today. He was in good spirits and looking so much better than the last time I saw him. He said he had lost over 40 lbs. and is looking forward to " getting out of this place " .
