I was doing some reading on the assassination of MLK and that went to the assassination of Bobby Kennedy and I saw the gun used to kill him was a Iver Johnson 22 . I thought I had seen one of these bikes in a picture somewhere...Sure enough.

A 1915 Iver Johnson... Did you know the same company that made this motorcycle also made the guns that killed President William McKinley, Senator Bobby Kennedy and the attempted assassination of Franklin D. Roosevelt ?

Well, if that company wasn't already OOB it would have to be banned !   Grin

I don't know much about them, but, It appears they built a good product. Firearms were made for quite awhile including military weapons. They made bikes and like many companies progressed to motorbikes. If I remember correctly they only made them for about 10 years but think they were of good quality. The bikes certainly were pretty.

They made a number of products including firearms.  In fact, I have one just like that on a plague on the wall.   Good thing I have an alibi.
