With the wind howling and being stuck inside here is the concert from Engishtown NJ  (I was there but didnt tape this)

Thanks to my brother Bonzo for posting the link on FB to "eyes of the world "   Garcia plays his fingers to the bone on that one

A great story to be told on a warmer day .........

I'm not a Dead Head by any stretch, but I'm betting I'm one of the younger folks to have seen 'em live in concert...

They played for 2 and a half hours straight... Great song! Wink

I saw them in 79 or 80. They were so drugged up they could barely play.  Embarrassed

Serk that was always one of the jokes

You or a friend may pass out for a while and when awakening
it seems like the same song still being performed

The music never stopped

Recently added a fairing and stereo to my Fast black 97", and I have found that Workingmans Dead, or, Go to Heaven suit Sunday morning roads very nicely.

Caught `em back in the day at the Warehouse in New Orleans... They were busted for pot before the show... I don't remember much about it, as it was indeed a pharmaceutical event.

Saw them in the Garden in '79 I believe it was.  Had an aisle seat at the side of the stage, Great seats.  A beautiful 20-something-year-old girl walking up the stairs fell into my 15-year-old lap and we made out the whole concert, stopping for beers and tokes only.  Never saw her again.  I'm sure the band was great that night, though.
