Ready for a new helmet.  Going to stay with Nolan.  I won't say how old mine is, but it looks like new inside and out.  Always wear a Slik.  According to recommendations, it needs replaced.

I'm staying with the N40 open face with visor.

Does anyone have this with the N-Comm and do you hook up to an I/S radio?
Are the speakers loud enough to hear okay?
Any wind noise?

With my older N40, I have Ed Sets speakers.  I have to wear earplugs because of my Mark T exhaust reverberates inside the helmet making the noise intolerable, even with the silencers in.  And of course makes hearing the radio very difficult.

Not interested in other brands.  I've been looking around....

Steve, I have the Nolan N104 Modular and I love it.

I also have the N-Com B-4+ system , it installed easy and the speakers are great in the modular helmet.

The radio has decent to good reception and the Bluetooth is great,it links up to my iPod real easy.

As for battery life, the radio doesn't drain the battery as fast as the BT, but I get about 6-8 Hours on BT depending on how loud I'm rocking down the highway.

The battery charges pretty quick, so when I stop for a rest, fuel, bathroom, I usually plug in and let it charge. I've never had an issue with the bike battery from charging N-Com while bike is not running.

I have a Garmin Zumo 450 that can transmit BT but it is not BT enabled, I need to hook up a transmitter so I cannot say how the N-Com works n that regard, nor have I linked it to my phone yet.

I hope this helps.

Mike
