To answer the wearer of that shirt, "Yes, I can, and I wish I hadn't."

If you REALLY want other drivers to be aware of you, mimic this look as much as possible:

My supervalk is regularly mistaken for a cop bike (as I am generally overtaking all traffic, it's the head on view that does it).

It's not that much fun, I create traffic slowdowns everywhere.

We had some Valk police bikes here in Dallas back in the day. I was in the HOV lane cutting in and out of it to stay around the ton when I saw a Valk way behind me and gaining fast, thought cool, he wants to play and kept going...

Only when he got right up on me did I realize it was one of he Valk police bikes, both of us doing triplet digits... Oops!

Luckily he was a good sport about it, smiled, waved and he passed me...

The cops must be more lenient in TX.  I had some blue accent lights that they made me take off. I'm surprised they don't arrest you for having a bike that closely resembling a police vehicle.

Over the years, I have developed a very good mea culpa face and subservient gestures that have gotten me a pass from time to time.  Although getting a pass for anything in my county is nearly impossible anymore.

Unless you are an illegal and no speeka da english..... I think they let them go because it takes up half their tour doing the requirements.

I can fake a pretty good broken Spanish, but I look as Latin as... well, any bald Scotsman.   Grin

I was in Corpus Christi on vacation soon after the Valkyrie was introduced, I was surprised to see the PD there were using Valkyries as patrol bikes.  It seems that many pd's use Honda, The latest being ST's
