Very cool! My dad was a instructor for the WWII era WASP gals in their primary stage of flight training at Avenger Field in Sweetwater, Texas.

Would enjoy spending a day or two there. From my very first flight in a Piper Tri Pacer I've been hooked. Flying in the Navy-cat shots and arrested landings-only added to the addiction.  Static displays show us where we've been and where we be headed. The Grumman S 2 D and Es I worked and flew on in the Navy were introduced in the 50s and have been modified to fight forest/brush fires-some with the addition of turbo prop jet engines. These virtual tour dealies are only missing the smells and the feel!  RIDE SAFE.
