Years ago, that was in one of the curves at Deal's Gap, it also had a plaque under it with some kind of verse written on it...I never understood why it was taken down..I have photo's of that somewhere in my collection...

Going to send it to my girls, they'll get a kick out of it. Along that same line, many years ago the daughter of some good friends was on a skiing trip out west. She had never tried to ski before and was really a bit of an accident looking for a place to happen. She came flying down this small slope(was being videoed) with legs and arms flying all over, yelling and screaming. She lost control and plowed into a large snowbank near the bottom. All you could see were her legs flailing all over with one ski still in place, and both ski poles sticking out next to her legs. They quickly pulled her out, spitting and sputtering, only to head for the top again. The second time when she lost control she just laid down. She was a real klutz, but pretty as can be. The guy she married must have had the patience of a saint.  Grin
