Beautiful east Tennessee ( GOD'S Country )

« on: February 19, 2016, 03:28:43 PM »

A week before " The Fall Color Ride 2015 " we was at a friends place in the mountains of North Carolina when my bike was hit in the parking lot . I first took the damaged saddlebag to Foster for repair and paint<---Most here know what happened to him on the FCR  Embarrassed   Foster was in the hospital 101 days and it was several weeks before I got his brother to get my saddlebag from his shop. A paint and body shop that has done work for me in the past did the work and I had to have both saddlebags painted so they would match. They did a great job matching the paint and made the scallops larger as well. Yesterday I got them mounted and today took my first ride on this bike since mid Oct 2015. My riding bud Paul ( Wimp ) and I hooked up this morning and made a ride over to visit Foster who is still recovering and moving slow however he is getting better with each passing day. After leaving Foster's place we took a nice ride along The Tennessee River. First two pictures taken today with the new paint on the bags ... Last picture was taken on Little River Road in The Great Smoky Mountains a couple years ago and show's the " BEFORE " picture.

I like the new look Joe.

It is "badder" looking then before IMHO, which is appropriate for a bike named Bad Mojo !

Best of luck and may no more accidents darken its doorstep ever again.

Well... that was worth the wait! The scallops on the tank flow right
into the ones on the bags now... they match...

Nice improvement on the paint scheme. Sucks that it had to get run over but it looks a lot cooler now!  cooldude

Thanks for the comments men  cooldude   I was sweatin' on how they would match and follow the lines . I still wish this had never happened and I'm sure the gentleman that hit my bike feels the same.

Very nice, I also like the bigger scallops. A real head turner of a bike, very nice paint job.  cooldude   You were fortunate to find someone to be able to match the paint, I haven't had that kind of luck with some of my paint jobs.
