Wow

We usually open the over ripe banana and put it with the others in the freezer in a zip lock bag

Then when I make a fruit or protein shake I just put the frozen banana in the blender

I can't conceive how the icky banana inside the black skin
could be made good again...

It's banana nut bread time, or in the trash....

Yeah it didn't look like an overripe one but one that had been put in the fridge overnight.

We always have a stock pile of bananas in the freezer for banana bread, im not much for the nuts though so we usually leave them out. Im goimg to try this right now, we have 6 black ones on the counter  cooldude let you know how it goes. Might even document this with pictures.

Make 'em last longer, when get home from grocer, break the bunch all apart and wrap the stem of each nanner with a small piece of cling plastic wrap. They won't turn dark quite so soon.

I have heard that.

My rule on bananas is, if there isn't a streak of green still in the peal, I won't eat it.

That was not a rotten banana. It was just right!  Even if it is all black, that just means that it is ready to eat.

I agree.  Bananas need to be soft for me.  Same for tomatoes, I really can only eat the ones I grow.

Exactly, I'm making some today.

I could eat banana nut bread every day.

Last time I made it I forgot to add the butter and it came out pretty good.

I don't care if the video is real or not.  Over ripe bananas in our house become banana bread.  Yum...
