A gorgeous day here in Southern New England.  Got about 50 miles in today and got in 80 yesterday.

Hope winter is gone for good.

Get better soon, sucks to be sick, especially when the sun is shining with blue ski.

Hope you don't get it to bad Oss, Sometimes like today if I am tired will ride home at 25 to 30 mph just to relax and feel the breeze. My commute is mainly back roads and not to long a one so it makes it possible to just meander along looking around.

Had to take my mom to Vassar Hospital Tuesday. The emergency room was a zoo. Apparently, this flu is taking everyone like a storm. Get better soon!

Recently (and still involved) had the opportunity to try the cure for my latest issue, Shingles.   Let me assure you, Shingles is nothing to shrug off.   It really sucks, even wearing a tee shirt is painful.  Now add in food poisoning for a three day stretch (probably my own cooking caused this) and we're talking about one sick puppy.    Bad enough that at more than one point, I seriously considered calling 911 due to severe dry heaves.   Sorry to be so graphic.    Regardless, the stomach issues have passed and the Shingles are starting to settled down.    In reference to the Valkyrie cure, tried that and it did lessen the effects, at least while I was in the saddle but, they immediately returned.    So, I've decided I need to stay in the saddle and keep riding.

This has been a really tough year health wise, looking forward to the full time riding season.

Oh yeah, if you've had Chicken Pox ever, then you carry the Shingles virus in your body, don't be foolish like me, get the Shingles vaccine shot, I didn't and wish I had.   A month of misery could have been avoided.

Had it about a month or so ago and still carry some of the cough. We were supposed to play a concert with several other bands but had to cancel. That really sucked! I have never done that ever but unless I could have set on a bucket it wouldn't have worked. Coughing until you puke isn't fun either.
