We had the other Valk, Ruby, all summer and didn't ride it much, sold it to a couple in Duluth.  the Slingshot is the main touring/fun machine and enjoy the dickens out of it, over 12K the first year.

Just an update, got everything bolted down, changed the oil and filter (T6 on sale at O'Reiilys $21 with $5 rebate)
Found the bike had been overfilled by about a quart.  Decided I had better take the bike for a quick ride.  Started it up, put it gear and found the clutch not working, luckily I was on the brake tickedoff.  Did a quick bleed on the clutch with vacuum bleeder and had about 10 air bubbles come out then it was fine.  I will be replacing all the brake and clutch fluid soon.
Bike ran beautiful, will be surprised if I have to adjust the carbs much.  I hate not having a windshield, should be taking care of that soon.

Finally done with the bathroom remodel and finished working on my daughters garage, back working on the 98.  Took if for a good ride and had some problems, engine cutting out then coming back sometimes so back in the garage and pulled the tank, but couldn't find anything wrong so took a closer look at the fuel lines.

As you can see the line going to the left bank of carbs has a slight dip in it.  Forgot I was going to replace this but got in a hurry to hear it run and forgot.  Found out you can replace the fuel lines without removing the air box.  Wasn't easy, had to take a needle nose pliers stick it in the end of the fuel line to open it up enough so I could slide it on the T's.  Working great now, next step is to use my new digisync then fine tune the carbs.
