Adding Pictures to Ad

How do I add pictures to a new or existing ad???  Thanks,  Hox

You can include pictures in a classified ad in the same way as you would on any other board by linking to a photo on the web.

Scott has additionally set it up so that on the Classifieds board you can attach a photo directly from your computer.  To do so when you are adding or editing your ad select the Additional Options.  Under that you can browse for a file to be attached.  Photos can be either Jpg of GIF but must be at or less than 1024 KB.  That's actually pretty generous but if you're wondering you can left click on a picture and display properties to see how large the file is.

Paint comes with Microsoft Windows and can reduce the size of any jpg.

Hey that's pretty sweet info. Never thought of using paint. Just experimented with it, and found it's about the easiest way to downsize a pic file ever.

Remember to save the result as another named file or you will replace your original photo with the reduced size result.  To save by another name and leave the original file unchanged select Save As and alter the name slightly in file name.  I sometimes just add "small".
