Frost on the Valk's pumpkin this morning, and ice on the Blue Mesa Reservoir BUT we hit the 50s this afternoon!  Got the new to me IS out despite its having OEM tire stems and old skins.  I know, friends don't let friends... BUT spring has sprung and I couldn't resist!  Kept her (just) under triple digits, tho.   cooldude

We're looking at 6"-8" of snow down on the Banana Belt, AKA Cape Cod. Starting around midnight.

70's forecast for next week....

Was upper 50's and WINDY here in The Republic. I had to bundle up with my full winter gear and still cut the ride short, it was just too cold... But did ride to a nearby place and had lunch with my eldest spawn in honor of her and her team getting 9 medals (8 of 'em gold!) at the Academic Pentathlon competition yesterday...

Ya spring is here by date only. I have had the bike out  4 times now. 3 times to work, not far about 35 minutes.  Only one time for fun but not very long either. I want the temps to be up in the mid 60s to go for a good 100+ mile ride, im sure that is coming soon........Starting pre planning for a mid to late May 4 day ride, looking at possible routes to the south west.   Its good to be alive and ready to ride.
