Pond Scoop aka Pond Scaper?

Need to borrow one for a couple hours.    I have no doubt most folks have one or two in their back forty just sitting there rusting away.   How bout letting me put it to use?   uglystupid2

I admit this may be the wrong forum to make this request but, ya never know.............

I put it in the redneck to yankee translator but did not get a hit    2funny

Are you talking about the pole with the net on the end for scooping up leaves and dead frogs?

I believe what he is talking about is a scoop that fits on a 3 point hitch for a tractor.

Well, heck yeah, if one had access to one.

Would be happy to borrow yours.

Yep.  For use with a three point hitch when one doesn't have Gavin's contacts.   Wink

Yep but, I'm not fond of the idea of being Bubba's go to "friend".

I remember "operating" a slip scoop behind a tractor in the 70's to repair a pond dam. It wore me out fast and I was about 18 and used to hard work back then.

A photo I found on the net (not mine). I think we borrowed the one I "operated."

Very similar to what I'm looking for but, I'm seeking one that will mount to my three point hitch on my tractor.    A much lazier version than what you used.   cooldude

I really thought Oss would be jumping at the chance to come down and learn to use one.  Wink

Here's one I've found on Craigslist: http://lexington.craigslist.org/grd/5427880652.html

I really hate to have to buy this just to use it two hours.
