If this is how whimpified our students have become!  We are in BIG trouble!  They need counseling because they saw the name Trump written on something.  Holy crap!

Wow....just WOW!  I also like another comment by the author: And there are unconfirmed reports that a FEMA caravan was spotted traveling South on Interstate 75 – with piles of baby blankets and crates of pacifiers.

How in the world did those poor little darlins ever muster the courage to crawl out from under their mamma's skirts long enough to even attend college.  uglystupid2

How the world changes one miniscule step at a time.

The head honcho on campus agreed with them and there will be safe spaces created on campus.

Hopefully they will be in an all encompassing gun free, drug free, tobacco free, alcohol free, LBGT friendly zone

If they have kids imagine the upbringing they will have. Shakes head.

Trump is the new Boogyman.  Unbelieveable.  I did like the one reporter when she read that Russia and China were afraid that Trump would be our next President.  I'm on the fence about him myself but we DO need someone who will fix things. Obummer disgraced this country again last week after the bombings and he was having fun in Cuba. WE DO NEED CHANGE.

Agreed kids need to learn the value of working for their country somehow, whether in military uniform or rebuilding the roads or just helping their fellow citizens

Should be mandatory 18-19, and include gun safety, cpr and how to make change from a 20 as well as manning the wall or building it

In return there should be reduced fee for education or technical vocation.

Neither complaint nor a brag. Myself at college age-19-I was walking the flight deck of an operational aircraft carrier off the coast of Vietnam. Our A O-Area of Operation-was called Yankee Station. I flew part time to break up the boredom that is the flight deck!  Roll Eyes These poor little pussified scum bags really need to grow up.  Far as drafting the little darlins go-If you have served do you REALLY want some of these folks havin YOUR back? Course I'm thinkin Natural Selection MIGHT take over! Scared of a name in chalk on a surface they can see.  uglystupid2 Sounds to me like NONE of them have been shot at in anger. Wonder who gonna pony up fer their counseling as IF I already DIDN'T know!  tickedoff RIDE SAFE.

Bring back the draft.

I wonder what Trump's view on a draft is?

Israel has a mandatory draft also...both young men AND women.

Perhaps in this day and age of constant threat it's about time we did the same.

Oh and will someone tell me what makes Trump a rasist? Why because he wants to close the boarder to keep America safe. Yes he has a big mouth, ego and no filter but this country needs someone like him after the last 7 years of the crap we have had to deal with.

You do realize children are usually a product of how they were raised.

To many handouts and not enough discipline tends to create a generation of spoiled brats from piss poor parenting.

I understand the difficulty some, you can't whip a child in public anymore without having child services knocking on your door.

You can get paid for vocational education, The Navy paid me and taught me to maintain and service aircraft. They even fed me and gave me a place to live.  I paid them back by fixing shot up and worn out airplanes for four years. Hoser  cooldude

Glaring result of attendance trophies.

Been hearing this a lot.

I grew up in the 60's and 70's.  I played Little League Baseball in my town.  Everybody got a trophy from the best to the worst.  The second place team's trophy was twice the size of all the other team's, and the first place team's trophy was bigger than that.  I got the participation trophy the first three years, then second place, then first place.  The following year was senior league ball and we sucked and got nothing and life went on.

I think I grew up pretty OK with good strong values.

Even the worst player in the major leagues makes just under half a million a year, just to show up.  Kids grow and learn during sports seasons.  Some excel in the sport, some make small strides.  I see no harm it letting a kid know he did good, even did OK for trying.  I do believe though that there SHOULD be a difference in the reward based on placement.  The winners should get bigger and better, which can serve as an inspiration to do better next time.  Like when the Bad News Bears threw the second place trophy to the ground and yelled "Wait till next year!"

(No argument here, Czuch, just a difference of opinion)
