Moving ahead so life won’t pass me by.

Yesterday on our way back from a ride to Mount Dora I was approaching an intersection, when a female motorcycle rider pulled out from the gas station forcing me to hit the brakes. She definitely did not see me, nor did she look to see if there was anybody coming. I drive an interstate so it's not a small bike. What I saw after that was unbelievable, the only way to describe it would be "f...in stupid". She continued to ride down the road and pulled her cell phone out tucked it down in her lap and kept driving while she was texting, reading text, or talking to someone. She was doing it and driving erratically next to the white line.
As I approached her at the next light I asked her if she had been ridding for a long time. She replied 2 years and I replied "and you text while you ride a bike". She gave me a blank stare and made an abrupt right turn from the center lane.
In my job I drive a bucket truck where I see way to many people that text and drive, that is just stupid. But texting or using the phone with your left hand while driving a motorcycle is definitely "f...in stupid"
This is just my opinion, I don't mean to piss anybody off.

I'll just add that if she keeps it up, she won't be stupid for too much longer.  uglystupid2 Nature's way of thinning the herd.  Evil Just hope she takes no one else out with her. Sad

About 3 months ago I took my last ride to work on a motorcycle.  Undecided Heading north or east from my house is country roads, heading south is massive traffic and road ragers in cagers! As much as I want to get on the bike and ride south to work especially when the weather is perfect, I won't do it.  To those that do traffic all the time please be wide eyed as it is a different world out there.

Oh, west of the house is the Gulf of Mexico  2funny

It was a very important text she HAD to take - from Fudgie, texting at the red light !  2funny
