I know I've read of the Annual Flood Run here. Unfortunately a biker was lost today.

Think I'll add a couple more lights to the bikes.

I heard about that death yesterday.  I believe the news said the bikers were waiting to make a left turn on US-61 North, a four lane, onto MN-42 South.  I don't as yet understand the accident as there is a left hand turn lane there.

I rode over to the river midday Saturday, there were thousands of motorcycles out.  I stayed away from the heavy traffic areas, been there, done that, had lunch at Bucknuckles and ice cream in Nelson.  Heading home, I actually turned at the accident intersection from the other direction heading down 42.  It was obviously earlier in the day.  The injured bikers and families are in our thoughts and prayers...

I may have heard it wrong.  It now appears that the motorcycle was heading South on US-61 and turning right onto MN-42 South when it hit the car waiting to make a left turn.  There is little info out there, but that is exactly the path I took, two hours before...

Very tragic. The bike on the hauler doesn't even look like it was damaged that much. But, life is fragile.
