I believe those crash guards are from a Goldwing 1500.  That side piece that covers the valve covers looks unnecessary and inconvenient aside from being less attractive looking than Valkyrie crash bars.

The crash guards or side engine guards are not from a gold wing. They are an extension of the stock engine guard. I made 100 pair maybe 8 years ago or so. They were a Valkyrie Bling assessory made right here in the USA.

Well, you did a mighty fine job creating them, Honda OEM parts are pretty well made and I thought those were factory.  Do they have to be removed to get the valve cover off?
