Yesterday, Mark and I went to a luncheon at the Ft. Wayne Texas Roadhouse restaurant for Honor Flight veterans and their guardians.

The tab was picked up by the owner.  There were quite a few vets and guardians there AND many Honor Flight volunteers to make us more than welcome!  I, and all the other vets, were greeted so warmly that my eyes were troubled by gnats a little. It was a warmup to the Honor Flight to DC next Wednesday.

I talked to two Korean War Vets and one WWII vet. A really nice time and gathering.!

I'm looking forward to the trip to DC as I've never been there before.  All of this is due to many people volunteering their time and finances to make it a memorable trip for the veteran.  Last year one of the Flights was totally paid for by a local business.

I thought maybe a positive post might be nice here.

Enjoy your flight, Wayne, you certainly deserve it. have helped launch a few of those here in Boston. Same damn gnats here, too.
