for a 98 Tourer? I can't get the little scratches out and the bride leaves a scuff mark across the right side when she dismounts.

I just had a bunch of these made for some vrcc family.

only took 4 months in line with an Amish upholsterer. once he got to it, it only took him a day to make 5 pair.

If he kept the template he might be interested in making more?

I'd like some in black and blue.

Or here's thought black with a chrome insert where the red is!!!!

I asked him if he kept a template. he said no, "cause if I kept a template of everything I made, I wouldn't have room to work"

That's a shame. Beautiful looking craftsmanship.

he can make more, he just needs the lids to the saddle bags. I take mine off in January and give them to him, and it took till the end of April to get them back. I'm going to have to get some junk lids of someone so that he can keep those instead, and make them upon request. (4 months later of course)  ???

I was just going to offer the same services. If it doesn't work out with your guy, I could probably help out. My wife and I have an upholstery business, and do things like this occasionally. Just need an old lid or two.....

How is the finished product attached to the lid?

Velcro

it fits well enough that I didn't have to remove the gaskets (its a little snug) and have ridden in the rain enough to know that they don't' leak.

How much does the maker charge?

The only problem is having to send the lid in.
