The eastern area of Colorado along I-25 and I-70 is particularly dangerous for motorcycles now.  Sheer numbers of autos and trucks make the odds against us.
Be aware if you are planning to pass through this summer.  No fear, but be alert out there. police

Thank you and arrive alive. Smiley wherever you are headed.

I remember being mildly terrified coming west of Denver riding 2 up with Bonnie from the top of the grade just past the city almost all the way to Georgetown at the speed limits, the weaving and  tailgating.

It made it really difficult to enjoy the vistas

Y'all got some serious winds in the afternoons as well.

Oss

and yes I ride NYC traffic all the time

Approaching KS on I 70 there were so many police vehicles lying in wait for law breaking motorists.

I saw one woman driving a mini van get pulled over in CO and then after she blew by me again in KS.

2 years ago I took I80 to I25 to Denver,, spent a couple of nights at my daughters place in Aurora then headed west on 70 Mt Evans  to 40 and north to 34, back to Estes then back home via I80. Traffic was  horrible around Denver and 70 west. Wife was glad to get off there. I still enjoyed it.
Wife hated that Mt Evans did not have any guard rails,, lol.

I dread riding in and around Denver nowadays.  Rat race deluxe.

This was on tonight's Denver news; nothing new, could be any urban area.
