Ha old2soon...there will be a fender in my future. Picked up a trailer fender from Tractor Supply Co...I have been luck to be able to ride as much as I can with no fender...not much rain in AZ

I think the shorter ones you had look better on that bike. But I would imagine they were pretty loud.

I personally would cut them right where the rim ends, shorter with the bobber look is better. just my opinion
