Very interesting ,Paul.   

I always called every ride, an attitude adjuster.  Driving a roadster comes close but still isn't the same.

Yes it is. 

Mental alertness and quick, accurate thinking seem to suffer a bit with age.  Not only do I feel better, but I think better after riding. 

If the soccer moms don't try to kill me, the thinking is happier and less evil in nature.   tickedoff Grin

Okay, here's my plan.

I'm removing the windshield so I can challenge my core.
I'm removing my foot and highway pegs so I can strengthen my quads and knees.
I'm switching to a heavier helmet to enhance my neck strength.
I'm switching to shorts, tank top, and flip-flops to maximize my vitamin D.
I'm looking for down-facing parking spots so I can burn extra calories. Maybe an even heavier bike.

Only one question - I know a lot of bikers with really great attitudes but few that are in great physical condition. Hmmmmm.
