Wasn't he out of Texas somewhere? That's all I remember about him, might be wrong but Texas comes to mind.

Hollywood is from NE Indiana(Ft. Wayne area) Not sure where that pic was taken, but I saw him do the same thing at the hotel in Bedford during the Indiana ride one year. Haven't seen anything of him for several years.

Last I heard (and this was a few years ago) was that he and his wife were still really active in the CMA but he had gotten into flying and he was spending alot of time doing that.

What is CMA?  (country music association?  Grin)

I can see this guy getting into flying for 1/2 of his bike is already in the air...   Grin

I'm not so sure I'd like the front landing on this though too harsh a jolt on my stock front I/S forks/springs.

I've seen a HD ultra classic or something like that do it right beside me with his heavier wife on back doing 50 or so mph, totally pissed me off watching him doing that (just not as high) right beside me while on the road at those speeds.  Stayed clear the rest of the day with the HD riders.

Yeah, I watched him do that at the CBR on Doc Morses' street. I think that he would let the rev limiter cut in and lower the Valk easy.  CMA was the Christian Motorcycle Association.  He was the minister in the marriage ceremony of Highlander and his lady at the CBR.

I believe the last that I saw him was at the Johnson City Inzane.  I think that he was from the Berne or Huntington  Indiana area.

I had forgotten that it has been fully ten years since we met Kristina.  I think it may have been about six years since I've seen them.

Hollywood has been a flyer for as long as I've known him.  He may have gotten more into flying and less into motorcycle riding as he and his wife are now raising at least two children.  You can't take very many children with you on a motorcycle ride.

I miss them.

I would like to know how to wheelie correctly, would be fun to show out in front of you guys, but I wouldn't want to abuse the clutch, drive train, frame, and front end, and maybe dropping the bike. I would rather cruise the country more!

Me too Willow. Great people.

I have a pilots license and owned a plane for 15 years. Flew my kids all over the place but got tired of flying and went back to biking. I have no desire to fly anymore unless its commercial and since TSA is so screwed up now even less desire for that.

I think it was Johnson City where I last saw him as well, he and his wife blessed the bike and prayed over it for a safe return home. Good thing, with the rain on the way home it was needed.

As for flying, my former wife and I were/are both licensed and traveled that way a lot before our breakup. Our kids were adults by the time we got our tickets but the still went with us a couple times. A few years after my divorce, I met my present sweetie and it turned out nearly everyone in her family has a problem with vertigo so I didn't fly much since I'd have to go alone. Add to that....she's a white knuckle flyer. About that time my medical expired and I never renewed it, and after a major heart attack four years ago I probably couldn't get a waiver anyway. I miss the flying but since I'm retired I couldn't afford it anyway.

Now if I should happen across that old ragwing stashed in a barn somewhere......or a little C-150......or a......   cooldude

What great people! Man I miss seeing them. I still have a bike blessing sticker on my rear fender to remind me of them every time I ride. I first saw him do the iron cross and a great wheelie at a hotel in Bedford I think. I don't think the misses was with him then.

And again at a hotel in Crawforsville and in front of a fast food place in Rockville at the intersection of highways 59 and 36. And again, in front of Doc's house. All were in Indiana.

They are both absolute, top notch people.

And, he never let that front end down hard that I saw. He was very, very good at it. I do think the Interstates may perhaps wheelie a little easier because of the weight distribution. I know my standard is way easier to wheelie with a weeks worth of stuff in the T bag on luggage rack.

The best thing you can hope for is folks say good things about you when they haven't seen you for a long time.
I always told the kids, "Make em happy to see you comin, and sad to see you go".
That's the true measure of success.
