hey Josh,

I was looking at your photo of your bike with the new headlight as well as the driving lights.

is your light bar the Cobra with the manual on/off switch? if so I think I have the same one. how difficult was wiring the new lights?

Mike,

I had to do some mods to make it work, but it wasn't to bad. My Cobra's do have the switch on the light bar itself and use 4.5" lights. I bought the Blue Halo 4.5" LED's. The biggest mod was to the light itself was cutting, and modifying the lights wiring harness. I cut off the connector. I then remove outside layer of the harness so that 3 wires were free. There is no room in the light for connectors so I soldered the connections in the light housing. Finally there as a little bit of play so I used a piece of foam behind the light to keep it in place. Lastly there is a tab on the LED that fit into the inner trim of the light housing so that the light would be level and wouldn't rotate, but this only works with the LED up-side-down, which hasn't been an issue.

Hope this helps,

DarkSider.
