Wonder how cheap it could be had for? I do have seats for it and a better looking set of OEM shocks.

12 step programs are for people with problems, I don't have any problems.  Well, bike related problems. Grin

I bought a rear fender from George (Momz) also, got to get it painted, thinking of maybe doing the Matte Black thing.  Saw a HD last night that was and it looked good.

I'd bet it was a Hurricane Sandy bike. What a shame to see it end up like that.

Agreed, that's a shame.  But there's a lot of good on that bike.

Might be a good Bobber project.  Wonder where in NJ......I'll be there next week for my Brother's retirement party.

Needs parts you'd normally replace/upgrade anyway.
If I lived in Jersey, I'd jump all over it.
Spit,. polish and seafoam.

If it's a hurricane bike, it could have sat under water for a couple of days.

You just won't know what is toast and what isn't, till you tear it down or try to get it running.

To me, it's a parts bike, but looks like a lot of good parts.

I would take it as a restore. I can't   bring myself   to strip a bike like that. I would get it running. A very good color. I have most cosmetic   parts in stock .  I stripped   a bike that caught fire , but if a bike is in that shape , I would get it golng. To many Valks are being stripped .  It is to  close to IZ to do a road trip. If there is anyone neat to fingerprint the bike , let us know.  I would love to buy it.

The guy said he wanted $1,000 for it.  I said OK and have not heard from him since.
