Six years ago this month we had a ACD trip for Valkyries owners.

Today I arranged a trip for the Lake Effects Miata club to the ACD museum.  We got together and had a nice time quite similar to the VRCC trip six short years ago.

Now

Then

Friends are friends no matter where you meet them.

Just for kicks, here are double the number of wheels that are normally shown here.  Yes, i still miss the Valk so I'm qualified (I think) Smiley

Wayne, it's bad form to talk about our acid trips in public.  Grin (couldn't resist) Good on you for doing this.  cooldude

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

I really like that name Lake Effects.  One of these days I have to go there.  Jeepers I go by it several times each year and it would make a great destination for our motorcycle club, maybe a 2 1/2 hour trip through back roads, mostly up Ohio 49.  Thanks Wayne.

If you do, don't forget to stop in New Haven and I'll roll out the welcome mat for you.  Maybe show you some nice backroad short rides here in the flatlands.

Glad you are getting out and having fun Wayne.   cooldude

However.... whenever I see a group of Miatas, I lock my car doors and act inconspicuous.   Grin

am sure those miatas are fun, in a go-kart sort of way.

Not so sure I'd fit into one very comfortably though?  Cry

My son, Mad6Gun has driven it.  He's a big guy but needs to have the top down to get into it.

Yep, it's small and sorta gocartish but with air, radio, cruise, a roof that doesn't leak, and a slick stick 6 speedl,  it's far from the go carts that I drove.

It is the top selling roadster in the world, including Porshe, BMW, Corvette, and the now defunct Pontiac Solstice, the Saturn Skye, and Honda's hot rod the 2000.

Like Rodney Dangerfield it gets no respect. Smiley Smiley Smiley
