He said something about having to go buy some new shorts. He was riding a 2014 HD ultra at right about 55 when the deer got in his face and m friend hit him broad side right in the middle. The deer took off and my friend never tipped his bike over.   I looked at the bike this Eve and  it looked
Iike the deer tried to go through the front forks.    Considerable amount of damage but all in all he is a pretty damn lucky guy.

Mark, I sent you a note. Send me an email an I'll send a pic of my friends HD. I can't do pics here as the puter is down. If you want to post the pics it's OK.  Glad you didn't dump your bike over that coon. I hope I don't ever hit one of them baskets of lard and that's all they are. I watched in disbelief on a night as a coon squeezed through a 2" wide max opening in a cage so that spells pure hell if you hit one.

Last Saturday afternoon I missed the deer in a corner. How every I ran out of cornering clearance to make the corner. Dragging the crash  bar , drivers foot peg . When the tires went off the road the rear came around slid back out onto the road. At that point I figured a high side was coming and pushed away. It did high side. My F6B is a total loss. My gear did its job. No rash, broken bones, no black/ blue.

Man that sucks. But I guess it could have been a lot worse.

Sorry to hear that sorcerer. It's a thorough same to have ones bike trashed, but glad you're here to tell the tale and  with no injury.
