Got in Sunday and left for home at dawn this morning. Said hi to Bonnie and took the car to the office in the Bronx got here before 2!
Managed to get in a fair amount of tire kicking and listening to some tall tales in Morgantown WV, met new people (again seems I can introduce myself year after year to some people and I just forget the handle or name )
Yesterday HairyTeeth and I went down 119 to see the covered bridges. I found one bridge and also another Valk couple from Oklahoma I think. On my way back found an awesome blue 63 corvette convertible in Grafton that I took some pics of and will post it later.
Still a great day for a ride and time spent with my VRCC family is just the best.
Today as I said was under 7 hrs door to door including the gas stops, only problem was while on the mickopegs doing 75 passing a truck the left peg just broke off and I almost lost control of the bike.
Fortunately the adrenaline helped me get the bike stable in the slipstream and I continued to pass.
Gonna call the folks at mickopegs for a replacement peg

Yo, always something. I recall one year your highway peg bouncing in the road as I rode by it.
