So many colors to choose from yet so few stand out

I can not describe how good this experience was.   Having never done the RV Park thing, I was a bit skeptical but, all was good.  Although I RV, I've never been to an RV campground.   Was a little surprised by the public shower being similar to a car wash.   It had a coin slot machine, 9 minutes for 25 cents.   But, the showers were clean and well kept.

Getting to and from GZ was a breeze and I met some great Valkyrie riders there.   I want to thank those two folks who stayed in my RV with me, they were great guests and I had a great time.    This was a great location for a Valkyrie gathering, temps were cool, roads were great and the company was the best.   cooldude

I would suggest that the next time we do a "block party", more than one person know the route.  Wink  Or, if more did, spread them out over the group.   I'm sure we circled one building at least twice.  Grin
Not to worry, most of us got there.

Oh Yeah, got home safely.   Felt real sympathetic to the Valkyrie riders who I passed who were sheltering under an overhead underpass but, the traffic wasn't going to let me get over so I could pull over.   Regardless, I had a wonderful time, tried to not be a PITA to Willow.   I sincerely hope I was successful.

Oh My Goodness, thanks for the reminder.   Jerry, you did a wonderful job of leading our group on Monday's ride.   Not too fast, not to slow, just right.   Great scenery and wonderful fellowship to boot.

Thanks for that.

And, not to forget Apple Annie's, talk about some great food and a dream factory of deserts.   Took me two attempts to get that Maple Walnut cake down but, it was worth the effort.   Dang, that was good.   Thanks for all you did!!!   cooldude

There was supposed to be more than one LEO to escort the ride.  When only one showed, we tried to adjust the plan with our own ppl to block intersections.  Unfortunately, it did not work out all that well.  If you went on the Thursday ride, you know that those issues were corrected.  I was on the phone with Sheriff's Office first thing in the morning to ensure we had more than one LEO.  I also distributed directions to every person, in case they got separated.  We may not be perfect, but we do try to learn from our missteps.

You can't do much about the length of your life, so focus on the width.

I sincerely appreciate the effort.   Things worked out well up to the point we hit the interstate.   As I said, I appreciate what the staff and blockers did.   Didn't go on the Thursday ride so, I wasn't aware of the adjustments.   Was a good time anyway.    cooldude

Nice meeting you Rams. We made it home today at noon. We enjoyed our camping experience. Meeting and talking to everyone in the park. Thanks for the ride into the supper.  Hopefully will see you next year.

Rams, we are what we are.  I've found the best way to enjoy life is to decide what we want to be and concentrate on that without trying to be synthetically different.  Some around me take issue with that but that's their problem, isn't it?

Do try to remember your commas.  That's a pet peeve with me.   Wink

Being the reserved, quiet, shy person I am, it is somewhat difficult to step out and be noticed but, I'm working on it.    2funny
